Dear Harker Families, As we continue to deliver the excellence you expect in our programs, we are extremely honored to have your family with us. It is our privilege to bring out the best in children at Harker each and every day and we look forward to continuing the journey in the year ahead. Soon, the Harker admission team will be sending you your 2023-24 re-enrollment contract in an email from our enrollment software, Ravenna, so please keep an eye out for that email. Last year, we followed our typical tuition model by increasing tuition to a degree correlated with the increase in the Consumer Price Index in the Bay Area plus an additional increase of about 1.25% to help us fold other ancillary costs into tuition. This year, we are following suit, increasing tuition by roughly 6.75% to account for the 6% regional inflation rate along with an additional 0.75% to further incorporate program costs into tuition. This allows us to meet the increases we are seeing in our program costs, and to keep staff salaries abreast with inflation. As you know, tuition, along with the generous philanthropy of our community, offers our rich and varied academic and curricular offerings, enrichment and supervision from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., our outstanding food service, highly qualified nursing and counseling services, robust libraries, well-trained and caring security, and so much more. Our mission continues to be to motivate, challenge and inspire all our students in their academics, extracurriculars, and personal development to help them be the best that they can be.
