The 2021-22 season of the Harker Concert Series concludes on Fri., May 6, live and in-person at our beautiful Rothschild Performing Arts Center’s Patil Theater – a lovely venue to enjoy a great season of music!
Doors open at 6 p.m. for complimentary (outdoor) hors d’oeuvres and soft drinks, and a bar for wine and beer. The concerts begin at 7 p.m. As will be the continued protocol for all large indoor gatherings at Harker until the end of the school year, masks will be required indoors at this event for all attendees.
Tickets are now on sale for the Daedalus String Quartet on Fri., May 6, and are FREE to middle and upper school Harker students. Harker middle and upper school students who would like to attend a concert should sign up on the Googledoc (use student login), and available single seats will be assigned to them throughout the house. If students do not want to sit alone and would prefer to sit with their parents, parents should buy tickets for them at the regular student rate of $15.
The quartet will be performing works by William Grant Stills, Laurie San Martin, Amy Beach and Felix Mendelssohn.
Our goal for the series is three-fold: to offer events for the public to attend and experience our amazing school; for our musical students to learn and be inspired by the master classes that the artists hold with students the day of each concert; and to provide another opportunity for our families and alumni to gather and socialize. We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Office of Communication
