Kev Choice
Too often, the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. can be understood as an iconic figure in world history, ignoring his childhood, education and strong family roots. Walter D. Greason, Ph.D., has studied Dr. King’s life for 35 years, leading courses and tours that inspire new generations to create their own lives of service. In this presentation, the audience will see highlights of the Civil Rights Movement, learn about the greater context of the Black Freedom Struggle, and examine the unprecedented impact of Dr. King’s life and legacy in the United States and around the world.

Dr. Greason will be joined by special musical guest Kev Choice, performing with Harker musicians. A Q&A will follow the talk, and a book-signing and reception will be held afterwards. Dr. Greason will be signing his graphic novel, “The Graphic History of Hip Hop.” (A limited number of books will be for sale at the event.)

Seating is open, but we request an RSVP.

We expect a full house. If your plans change and you cannot attend, please email boxoffice@harker.org so we may release your seat to another patron.
