We’re very excited about our upcoming event with Dr. Clarence B. Jones on Fri., Jan. 24. This event is totally full. We have some requests for you:
Please, if you have tickets, come to the event! We want to ensure a full house for Dr. Jones.
If are no longer planning to attend, email boxoffice@harker.org by this Friday, Jan. 17, so we can release your seats to those who want to come.
Because of the anticipated numbers, we will be releasing any seats not claimed by 6:55 p.m. Please come early!
Dr. Jones will sign copies of his book, “Last of the Lions,” if you’d like to bring a copy. The book is available on Amazon.

We are proud to host Dr. Clarence B. Jones at our annual Martin Luther King celebration. The evening will include a performance by The Harker School Orchestra. A reception will be held afterwards.
If you had already reserved tickets for Nikki Giovanni, who sadly passed away this month, your tickets will be honored at this event and there is no need for further action. We expect a full house; if your plans change and you cannot attend, please email boxoffice@harker.org so we may release your ticket to another patron.

Clarence B. Jones served as legal counsel, strategic advisor, and draft speechwriter to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. from 1960 until King’s assassination in Memphis, Tenn., on April 4, 1968. Vanity Fair called him the man who kept King’s secrets; Jones was privy to King’s decision-making processes and political struggles. He is credited with writing the first seven paragraphs of the iconic I Have A Dream speech. He currently serves as the chairman of the Spill the Honey Foundation, an organization dedicated to Black-Jewish relations. He also founded the Dr. Clarence B. Jones Institute for Social Advocacy and serves as the founding director emeritus of the Institute for Nonviolence and Social Justice at the University of San Francisco.
