Jeff Veley: Equipping Students with Skills of Empowerment Fri., Jan. 12 from 5:30-7 p.m. Nichols Hall, Upper School Campus Jeff Veley, an international speaker, social skills educator and World Peace Ambassador specializing in resilience education for bullying prevention, will speak to Harker parents on Fri., Jan. 12 at the Nichols Hall auditorium on Harker’s upper school campus. This follows presentations he is making to all K-12 students earlier that day. Jeff Veley’s mission is to equip students with the social and emotional skills that empower them to face adversity, grow in resilience, and solve their own social problems. Veley’s message has reached over one million people. He’s received the Golden Rule International Award, the World Civility International Award, and is recognized as a World Peace Ambassador by the United Nations for his effectiveness in teaching conflict resolution skills for social aggression.
