To All Harker Parents,
|
I hope everyone’s new year is off to a positive and fulfilling start. As we begin 2025, we are excited to look ahead to the many activities and initiatives planned for the second half of the school year.
At The Harker School, we strive to partner with parents, equipping you with tools to navigate both the challenges of parenting and the unique journey of being a Harker parent. As part of this commitment, I’d like to remind you of the upcoming late fall and spring events in our Harker Parent Connect series. These sessions are designed to provide valuable insights and education to support you and your family.
Details about these events can be found in the calendar or will be shared via email. Attendance is optional, but we encourage your participation. For additional social opportunities organized by grade-level parents, look for “Parent-Organized Events” in the calendar, marked with a puzzle piece icon.
Included below are the current parent education series available through The Harker School’s memberships and subscriptions. These include the Peninsula-based Common Ground Speaker Series, webinars from the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS), and resources from Common Sense Media, offering expert advice on technology and media. All presentations are free for our community.
I hope you find these parent education sessions valuable. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Once again, I wish you a fantastic start to 2025.
