With September ending, school is well underway at Harker. Schoolwide events like Homecoming and the upcoming Family & Alumni Picnic bring our community together and allow students, parents and faculty to spend time together outside of the classroom. The conversations and connections that happen in these moments enrich and strengthen the bonds of our community.
Construction of the Rothschild Performing Arts Center continues, as crews work to have the building weatherproofed before rainy season. The new center will provide another gathering place for our community, where we will be able to appreciate the results of our talented students’ dedication and hard work. The features in the new facility will allow our students to present their performances in the best possible light (and sound, and staging).

We still need additional support to complete the construction, and it’s not too late to participate in this project. Gifts of $2,500 and above qualify for a naming opportunity in the new buildings, as well as a paving tile in the central plaza. Gifts may be made online. Please contact Joe Rosenthal, executive director of advancement, at joe.rosenthal@harker.org with any questions.
