Construction Update

We are thrilled to share with you an update on the construction of our new middle school on the Union Ave. campus.

The construction of the new middle school continues at the Union Ave. campus. With our solar panels in place and our cutting edge heating and cooling systems installed, we remain on schedule to complete the building for the 2021-22 school year.

The completion of the new middle school campus is an important part of our strategic plan and will allow us to offer our students an academic experience in an environment that is both inspiring and nurturing during these formative years of their education.

Our cutting edge heating and cooling system will use no fossil fuel and will run entirely on electricity. Our solar panels will produce 125,000 kilowatts of power, providing 25 percent of the total energy usage on campus, making this a Gold LEED certified project. The middle school will have reduced energy usage for more than 25 years. Enjoy this behind-the-scenes video!

We are incredibly grateful to our early seed funders for their generosity to the 125th Anniversary Gift Initiative, which is funding this project. Now that we have launched the public phase, there are many opportunities for the entire community to support this initiative. Naming opportunities begin at $25,000, which can be pledged over a period of five years.
