The opening of the Rothschild Performing Arts Center earlier this month was the culmination of many years of planning, construction and community support for the project. The new athletics and performing arts facilities have brought a new energy and vibrancy to our upper school campus.
I would like to express my gratitude to the many people who helped make these buildings a reality, especially donors like you. Generations of Harker students to come will be able to make use of these wonderful spaces.
With the completion of the building project, this will be our last construction update email. I hope you have enjoyed following along on this journey from concept to reality. Stay tuned this summer as we launch new monthly updates to celebrate our 125th anniversary year!

The Rothschild Performing Arts Center opened Feb. 2 to an excited crowd of nearly 700 visitors. The state-of-the-art facility opened its doors at 6:30 p.m. to a throng of students, parents, faculty and staff, alumni, alumni parents and guests.

On Aug. 18, 2017, Harker history was made as the new athletic center opened its doors to the public. The court, named after former school president Howard Nichols, will host volleyball and basketball games, as well as meetings and other school events.
