As you know, the school is hosting a meeting for all parents of children entering our kindergarten for the 2018-19 school year. We feel it is critical that parents attend this meeting.

There will be a talk by Annye Rothenberg, Ph.D., a child/parent psychologist who is a noted Bay Area expert in young children and childrearing. She is a knowledgeable, articulate and entertaining speaker who will share examples from her parenting psychology practice, which is devoted to typical children and their families.
Dr. Rothenberg offers important insights and practical guidance during her talk, focusing on Harker expectations. A parent herself, she is an adjunct faculty member in pediatrics at Stanford University Medical School and was the founder of a major parenting program in Palo Alto.

We are extremely grateful to have Dr. Rothenberg as a valued resource for our school. This is the ninth year that we have had her talk with kindergarten parents. Parents truly appreciate her insight and practical guidance, and Harker’s kindergarten teachers have seen the positive effect on the children’s behavior.
We’re pleased to announce that attendees will receive a free copy of Dr. Rothenberg’s book, “I’m Getting Ready for Kindergarten.”
We look forward to seeing you.
Sincerely,
Sarah Leonard
