I’m so delighted that you are interested in The Harker School!

One of my favorite times of the day is morning arrival as the campus is filled with excited “hellos” and high fives between students and teachers alike, as a new day in this wonderful community of learning begins.

My other favorite time is to walk through the campus after the buzz of arrival and the classroom doors quietly close behind the last student, and see the magic happen in our classrooms. I hear the students’ passionate discussions, their adorable laughter and their encouraging support of one another as they work through problems, all the while lovingly and expertly guided by our wonderful teachers, who specialize in the needs of young learners.

And the learning doesn’t end after the last class. Almost all our students remain on campus for our incredible after-school offerings – things like karate, chess, music and more – to continue playing and learning. It truly feels like a neighborhood for both our students and our staff!

Each October we have Harker Day, which brings the entire TK-12 community and alumni together to celebrate Harker and our students. Throughout the year the students enjoy field trips, performances, assemblies and so much more.
