This year’s Dickinson Artist-in-Residence is Ana Teresa Fernández . Zheng Fernández will be interviewed by Nidhi Gandhi ’11, curatorial and programs associate at San José Museum of Art. A Q&A will follow their chat, and a reception will be held afterwards.

A student of linguistics, she speaks five languages. An artist of border erasure, she elevates the intersectionality of place, person, and politics to create a common human vernacular. Time-based actions and social gestures are her syntax.

We are thrilled to host acclaimed poet Walter D. Greason, Ph.D. at our annual Martin Luther King celebration. Dr. Greason will be interviewed on stage by Harker history teacher Triston Brown and the evening will include a performance by The Harker School Orchestra and an audience Q&A. A reception will be held afterwards.
