In partnership with Pegasus Tech Ventures, Harker is proud to host the world’s only regional Startup World Cup exclusively for high school students. After a competitive selective application process, seven of the most ambitious student companies from across the nation – including two from Harker – will pitch their companies live in front of a panel of renowned investors. The winning team will earn $2,000 and the top 3 teams will earn a spot at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco, where they will compete for a $1,000,000 investment prize.

Harker’s participants are juniors Stellan Lindh and Nicole Dean with Fika Matcha, and sophomore Isaac Liu with Fore!Cast.
In addition to the student pitches, we will hear remarks from:
Brandon Yang, co-founder of Cartesia
Bill Reichert, partner at Pegasus Tech Ventures
Vijay Reddy, investor at Mayfield Fund
And feedback will be given from judges:
John Kwon, managing director at Samsung Ventures
Rui Zhao, managing director at Blackrock
Ajay Kamat, partner at Pear VC
Rahjesh Swaminathan, partner at Khosla Ventures
Whether you are a Harker student, alum or parent, this is a chance to be in the same room as hundreds of Silicon Valley’s top business and technology professionals, from CEOs to VC investors to tech leaders. You will also get to interact with dozens of student entrepreneurs showcasing their talents on stage and through exhibitor booths. Tickets are free, so come enjoy an evening of student entrepreneurship at the highest levels with delicious food, drinks and desserts.
