Summer @ The Conservatory will bring together the very best Bay Area educators to help students develop skills through a variety of acting classes, workshops, master classes and performances. Students grade 6-12 who are passionate about performing arts can improve their skills with classes focused on technique and performance instruction.

Classes will be taught by outstanding directors and teachers, with master classes by industry professionals from New York and Los Angeles, including casting directors from major companies.

Film Acting Intensive — New workshop offering!
Summer @ The Conservatory presents The Reel Workshop, brought to you by Connect Studios and The Reel You of Los Angeles. In this interactive, intensive three-day course students will engage in conversation and lecture, effective exercises, mock auditions, on-set experience and insightful Q&As with industry professionals. Workshops are taught by the very best Bay Area educators and elite professionals in the performing arts industry.

This comprehensive three-day course is an educational and fun experience. Students interested in a career in the entertainment industry will be off to a great start, including having their head shots and demo reels to take home. This will fill fast so sign up today!
Conservatory Intensive
Grades 9-12 | 3 weeks: June 24-July 12, Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
By audition only, this intensive is designed for rising grade 9-12 students passionate about expanding their knowledge of theater in both the classroom and through a live one-act performance at the end of the program in our state-of-the art theater. Students will have morning classes in advanced acting techniques led by industry professionals from the Bay Area as well as workshops led by television and/or movie actors and directors. Students will be required to have attended at least one acting class in school or theater camp prior to auditioning for Conservatory Intensive.
The Conservatory Presents
Grades 6-9 | 3 weeks: June 24-July 12, Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The focus will be on morning technique classes with a variety of required and elective courses, and afternoon rehearsals. Students will be grouped by experience level for their mandatory acting classes to ensure appropriately challenging material for all levels. In addition, a Leadership-in-Training program is being developed for high school students wishing to intern, stage manage or assistant direct.
